Course Outline
Over the duration of the course we will shoot an original scene for you that will be shot on location. On the day of the shoot we will typically spend two to three hours solely focusing on you scene to insure the most professional and polished production for you. The goal is to use this scene as original content for showreels purposes. We will also use this scene in class to further explore the craft of acting, and camera skills. During the course, there will also be a class on the industry and how best to use your showreel to gain representation and work.
Unlike other acting courses, we keep the numbers in our classes very small, this allows more time to be spent with you and to truly explore your scene. On the first evening of the course you will be paired off with another class member. At this point pre-written scenes will be handed out. From here and over the following classes we will explore these scenes and characters culminating in shooting the scene on location on a separate date. The date of the shoot will be derived during class based on availability of all participants.
The production of the actual scene will take place outside of class time in a different location, and on a different date.
Location and date will be determined during class time.
Cost of the Course
€450 (Or €250 Deposit and €50 per class in installments).
